I wanted to capture these 'classic' Coke bottles on canvas before they disappear forever...
It's funny, the other day I saw an old Fairy Liquid bottle from the 1980's and it's surprising how seeing something so simple from the past can take you right back there!

When I was a kid, I was never allowed to drink fizzy drinks at home, so I got to enjoy a Coke with a straw only when I was at a friends house or a party... And by the time I left home, the only coke I was interested in, contained a good splash of Vodka!

​Anyway, I should be thankful that fizzy drinks were never a part of my daily diet, since to date I still don't have any fillings. That can't be a coincidence, right?

Week in a nutshell...

Started: Exercising on the cross-trainer. Expecting a butt like two tennis balls in no time! Right?
Drinking: Vegetable juice...  Hmm.... ??
Watching:  'Doctor Foster'... First series was brilliant!
Excited about: Starting my next painting... This time, 38 x 56 inches! Oo-er!
